  In preparation for my undergraduate studies, I took on a summer job as a bartender in York's city centre.I started as bar support/setup at Revolutions, learning recipes and becoming comfortable behind the bar as well as managing deliveries. Then I progressed to work as a bartender and floor staff, and later assisted (and twice led) masterclasses with up to 30 people per two hosts.   Aerodynamicist

  In my first year, I worked in the wind tunnel testing department, where I fabricated and tested a scale model of the vehicle in the RJ Mitchel wind tunnel, the largest university wind tunnel in the UK. This experience allowed me to gain hands-on experience with wind tunnel testing techniques and understand the importance of accurate data collection.In my second year, I transitioned to the aerodynamics design team, where I used my knowledge of aerodynamics, CAD modelling skills, and CFD analysis to inform the design of the car's aerobody. Through this experience, I developed my skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail. Additionally, I gained experience working in a team environment and collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds to achieve a common goal.Overall, my time in the Southampton University Formula Student Team's renowned aerodynamics department has allowed me to hone my skills in both practical and theoretical aspects of aerodynamics, as well as develop valuable teamwork and communication skills.
