      Lancashire Sports Awards - Young Volunteer of the Year, Highly Commended Lancashire County Council Dec 2015 The Lancashire Sports Awards, have been developed in partnership with each of Lancashire's local authorities in order to celebrate sporting achievement and showcase best practice throughout the County. The Awards aim to pay tribute to those, young and old, that show dedication to perform at the highest level or those who work tirelessly to support individuals or clubs week in, week out, for the love of sport. I won highly commended for my work with the Blackpool Bears Charity.

      Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award The Scout Association Aug 2015 Building on from the Bronze Award, the Silver Award has the young person further develop their skills, physical and volunteering sections. This time the young person completes 2 of the sections in 6 months and 1 of them in 3. This Award, as with the Bronze, recognises the young persons dedication to completing these 3 sections, and recognises the new soft skills developed throughout the program. This award is achieved after completing a 3 day, 2 night expedition.

      Blackpool Community Sports Award - Young Volunteer of the Year Blackpool Council Mar 2015 The Community Sports Awards are a way to recognise the contributions of local people of all ages and abilities in the name of sports. I won the Young Volunteer of the Year Award for my long term volunteering with the Blackpool Bears Charity as a Climbing Assistant, an organisation which helps disabled people of all ages and abilities participate in sports. I also helped an elderly gentleman return to climbing after he had a severe stroke.
