      Employed as the General Manager I oversaw the full kitchen refurbishment of the hotel. The hotel had lost their main client who was situated right across the road. I implemented a change of focus in marketing and focusing on events and weddings and key corporate clients. The f&b was well below budget which we increased with hosting function nights and themed evenings. The property left the fold and I was transferred. I led a service focused TEAM which covered the restaurant, bar and conferencing. I developed the cocktail menu and assisted with food menu development. Restaurant and bar specials to stimulate sales. Completed a food and beverage month end report and the food and beverage trading summaries. Assisted with the opening of this stunning 4 star property and helped develop the staff training and execution of sales. I controlled the beverage stores and the Food and Beverage guest supplies. During this period I was enrolled in Protea Hotel's Management Course and worked at the designated properties.

      Employed as the pre-opening General Manager for BON Hotel Elvis, a 79 bedroom hotel in Abuja. I drafted the business plan, implemented brand standards, staff training and ensuring product meets brand standard. Focusing on government and select key clients bought the hotel up to 60% occupancy in under 7 months. Quality of service was a key focal point and our training emphasized each staff members ownership of every guest interaction. Therefore increasing guest satisfaction.
