      Reporting directly to Consumer Products General Manager, I managed three brands: “SAFE” Environmentally Responsible Paper Products (4.8% share $412 million toilet tissue market, and 72% of $36 million environmental segment within that market); “Bouquets” premium toilet tissue (1.6% value share); and “Merino” disposable tableware (6.5% share of $47 million disposable napkin and plate market).       The role of National Brands and Marketing Manager for Kinney Shoes - Colorado Group (Williams, Mathers for shoes, Jensens and Colorado Adventurewear), required the establishment of strategic marketing plans for all divisions, creation and management of all budgets, and recruitment and development of a professional marketing team. Reporting directly to the General Manager for Buying, the role managed a team of four people as well as brand management for “Lynx” athletic footwear ($28 million) and “Colorado” footwear ($36 million), as well as other minor house brands.       Reporting directly to the GM Sales and Marketing, this FMCG role managed over 500 products with annual turnover of $420 million. The position was the most senior marketing position in the company and involved the writing and implementation of strategic marketing plans for 4 key divisions (ambient beverages; chilled beverages; shelf stable foods; baby food) within the key distribution channels (Grocery, Out of Home (including route, petrol and convenience, food service, 78 franchisees), and International). Launched range of 26 canned baby food products achieving 32.6% unit share of canned market and 18.2% of total wet baby food market in first 14 weeks. Resulted in award “Overall Winner for Marketing Excellence” AMI and Gold Pinnacle award from AFA which was written up as a case study on successful product launches. Conceived, developed and executed company re-launch including researching current market and future trends, market segmentation, decision hierarchies, brand architecture and positioning models. The repositioning included redesign of several brand logos, pack design across 500+ products, website design, brand and product advertising campaigns and internal marketing tactics to drive buy-in from Board of Directors down to shop floor staff.
