Nashik is the Original Equipment Supplier to Mahindra&Mahindra, We designed a template to schedule the production planning activities as per Customer Requirement in Heavy Press Shop (HPS). This template also developed a mechanism of communication by which respective departments could proactively produce/procure parts so that no shortage of inhouse/child parts is ensured.We also came up with a framework to decide the Batch size of production in HPS in order to reduce the number of setups.
