  Main Contributions- Focal point for Airasia X A330 fleet Landing Gear Overhaul Project.- Involvement in company’s project for continuous improvements, which includes -> Introduction of SDR (Structural Damage Report), a new and standardized Technical Form -> Prepared training material for Aircraft Structural Defect, SRM Familiarization Course for Line Maintenance personnel.- Structure Focal Point for aircraft leasing program.Routine Role- Provide round-the-clock technical support to line and base maintenance, inclusive of AOG events related to A330 Structures and Landing Gears, which includes ATA 32, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, and 57.- Liaison with manufacturer, vendor and aviation authority relative to engineering issues.- Undertake development study on preventive maintenance to reduce maintenance cost and ensure minimal unscheduled maintenance.- Evaluate continuous airworthiness data and provide sentencing recommendations to Modification Committee to satisfy airline’s requirement in terms of cost saving, improved reliability and safety.- Prepare and issue the required technical documents in accordance to approved procedures and regulatory requirement.- Provide approved data for technical instructions which is not within the scope of Structural Repair Manual.- Prepare and control Dent & Buckle Chart of Airasia X’s A330 fleet.- Manage and coordinate AOG events in terms of approved data preparation, repair material management and manpower coordination.- Evaluate repair reports of structural and landing gear parts.- Collect, compile and analysis of damage reports during landing gear overhaul, and provide recommendations to Part 145 organization for preventive maintenance / improvement program.- Continuous negotiation with vendors to reduce cost or receive additional support for retrofit program.- Preparation and submission of Statement of Compliance for Major Repair / Modification in accordance to AN78 to Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia.
