      In the fast pace world of construction I had to learn quickly. I started in the concrete & formwork areas of construction, forming moulds for lift shafts, Walls & Archways. After 15 months I was moved towards the first and second fix sites. Hanging Doors, Fixing Plasterboard, attaching ironmongery were my main roles.

      As a private ambulance service, Medilink primarily operated on Patient transfers around the country, providing medical assistance to sick or injured personelle while being transported to and from various medical centres. My Roles alternated between driving and providing treatment. We also covered first aid for a wide range of events where any and every form of injury or illness could come pur way.

Class sizes ranged from 5 people to over 70, and the skill levels were very mixed.I was responsible for lesson planning for each class.A lot of this involved interchangeable lesson plans as I would only find out what I was teaching 10 minutes before the class.

With these machines I performed many health screening techniques such as Bone Density, Cholesterol, Menopause, and many more.       I Lead a training team of full time staff and multiple subcontractors. This includes planning logistics, business development & quality control. I recently introduced software to our on site risk assessments, slashing the time taken to complete by over 60%. For the training side, I designed and tested a training administration software, which cut out the need for printed certs, paperwork & a whole lot of emails that went with it. For sustainability into the future, I also playa big part in becoming the first recognised organisation in Ireland to be approved by the Institute of Fire Engineers as a training site. During my time there we have also become a PHECC Approved Training institute. Show less
