  In the fast pace world of construction I had to learn quickly. I started in the concrete & formwork areas of construction, forming moulds for lift shafts, Walls & Archways. After 15 months I was moved towards the first and second fix sites. Hanging Doors, Fixing Plasterboard, attaching ironmongery were my main roles.

  As a private ambulance service, Medilink primarily operated on Patient transfers around the country, providing medical assistance to sick or injured personelle while being transported to and from various medical centres. My Roles alternated between driving and providing treatment. We also covered first aid for a wide range of events where any and every form of injury or illness could come pur way.

  I taught all ages of students, From 2 years old to late adult. I was successfully managing a busy schedule between 8 different schools in any given week. Class sizes ranged from 5 people to over 70, and the skill levels were very mixed.I was responsible for lesson planning for each class.A lot of this involved interchangeable lesson plans as I would only find out what I was teaching 10 minutes before the class.

  With the HSE I responded to emergency calls within the framework of the national ambulance service. Managing stressfull and quite traumatic situations was part of the work. Also staying calm when everyone else is panicking was a fantastic skill that i would still implement to this day.

  I worked on the OTC counter serving customers non prescription drugs.Other duties entailed helping out the pharmacist to fill in prescriptions,Setting and achieving high sales targets regarding OTC sales and health Screening.I was responsible for the wellbeing and maintenance of machines worth over 28,000 euros. With these machines I performed many health screening techniques such as Bone Density, Cholesterol, Menopause, and many more. I quickly adapted to the business environment & Self thought in the art of Sales, Accounting, Marketing, Training & staff management. Although I have shut down a lot of the business including the website, I would still keep a small portion of the business active, mainly to keep my skills up to date with internal management systems.   I Lead a training team of full time staff and multiple subcontractors. This includes planning logistics, business development & quality control. I recently introduced software to our on site risk assessments, slashing the time taken to complete by over 60%. For the training side, I designed and tested a training administration software, which cut out the need for printed certs, paperwork & a whole lot of emails that went with it. For sustainability into the future, I also playa big part in becoming the first recognised organisation in Ireland to be approved by the Institute of Fire Engineers as a training site. During my time there we have also become a PHECC Approved Training institute. Show less

  Through Meetup, I personally guided over 100 leaders into making their groups a success. The "Share your story" platform is a creation I am particularly proud of. It brought vulnerable people together and created life long connections. When great people come together, Fantastic things happen. I had the responsibility for troubleshooting issues as the main liaison for Ireland. With this role, I was assisting Group leaders nationwide.
