      During March 1990 and June 1997 I conducted/participated in the following projects at Dubai Municipality1. Updating/upgrading of the existing basic geodetic planimetric network (Reliability studies, gross error detection and elimination, network rectification, network augmentation, densification using several data/sensor sources including GPS)2. Final 3D networl adjustment of the network and accuracy assessment3. Densification of the network to suite urban cadaster purposes4. Creation of the new digital cartographic system for the on those days on the way GIS of the Emirate.5. Using Linear Least Squares/Linear prediction transform the deformed (systematic and non-ramdom) old network into the newly stablished.6. Using different geometric models and the porameters of the above mentioned transformation (See point 6 above) to transfer the old cadaters boundary of plots to the new cartographic systems of the on-going GIS7. Participated in the establishment and measurement of the first absolute value of the gravity within the Emirate (and withing the entire area). Project carried out with the Institute of Earth Measurements of the University of Hannover - Germany8. Densification and adjustment of the gravimetric network for the purpose to estimate the separation geoid - ellipsoid (WGS-84) in the zone and in this way indirectly have the shape of the geoid and the zero altimetric value for leveling terrain with the Emirate.9. Draft, coordinate and set up the technical especification for several large scale photogrammetric mapping for the on-going GIS10.
