      Support to SIDA, ECHO and UNICEF projects across Puntland and Somaliland. Field-based working on emergency preparedness planning, construction support, WASH in institutions, disaster risk reduction and program evaluation. DFID, AusAID, DANIDA, Norwegian MFA, CIDA, Bandaid and DEC funded WASH projects across Hiran, Galgaduud, Bay and Bakool and Mogadishu. Remote support and management of teams and local partners. Work included construction of sanitation and water storage facilities, storm water drainage in Mogadishu, water trucking to bladders, hygiene promotion in communities and institutions, distribution of hygiene kits and program monitoring and evaluation. Coordinating DFID and ECHO funded projects across the West region after the post election conflict. Managed a team of 15 people and 2 local NGO partners, providing WASH support to institutions and IDP camps. Work included the construction of WASH facilities, distributions of NFI kits, hygiene promotion and water supply USAID funded WASH project following ethnic clashes and arson damage in Osh and Jalal-Abad. Managed team of 50 people for urban santiation constructions and the distribution of cash grants to 500 households. Also took on the role of Shelter Coordinator for 2 months to close a UNHCR funded shelter project constructing 345 houses. 3 months spent with the Emergency Response Team & 3 months spent with the Capacity Building and Preparedness Team. Completed the Emergencies Operations Programme including simulated first phase response and advanced field training with personal security in hostile environments and emergency first aid
