  • Developed an HPLC method for quantitative evaluation of protein-diisocyanate conjugation with the goal to standardize immunoassays used to detect diisocyanate specific antibodies from exposed workers’ sera.• Used Proteomic mass spectrometry to identify preferred diisocyanate binding sites on serum proteins by detecting sites of modifications.• Used dot blot, western blot and ELISA assays to evaluate the nature of the conjugates formed between di-isocyanates and serum proteins using diisocyanate specific antibodies produced in our lab.• Cultured THP-1 cells (human cell line) and exposed them to di-isocyanates.
