      Jan 2015 - Jan 2020
      Research Scientist - Analytical Chemist

As a Graduate Research Assistant ✔️ Designed an analytical method to quantify iron and zinc in the production of the small molecule, Mycofactocin, prompting a publication in biochemistry.✔️ Followed previous standard operating procedures (SOP) developed in the lab and compiled with environmental protection agencies test and quantification standards. ✔️ Experience in data analytics by obtaining, merging, manipulating, and running statistical analysis of large data sets resulting in an investigation of over 1000 small molecules.✔️ Used program logic in excel and expedited molecular calculations to discover different trace elements and organic species in 97 x-ray fluorescence emission spectrum.✔️ Used linear regression models including EPA’s Positive Matrix Factoring, principal component analysis, and multiple linear regression to analyze data products to assess environmental trends, develop insight into environmental chemistry, and understand the outcomes of city pollutants.✔️ Assessed statistical relationships between trace metal, small organic molecules, and proteins in over 10,000 samples ✔️ Organized, analyzed, and visualized data generated from UC Berkeley, SCRIPPS research institute, and Ghana EPA to develop 7 research reports, 5 journal articles and meet 4 grant requirements.
