    • Refugee Café Oneness

      Jun 2018 - Jan 2019
      Co-Founder & Program Manager

The Refugee integration Café Oneness runs once every month and promotes the refugee integration process in Germany by bringing together locals and refugees from wide-ranging social, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. I was responsible for managing the activities program which included social sports, games, cultural dancing, singing and casual language classes to promote an engaging atmosphere. Together with my parents and sibling, I organized funding from the city of Karben through conversations with the mayor. The ultimate goal of our growing association is to make our new arrivals feel welcome and promote a sense of unity within German society. Show less

    • The University of Queensland

      Feb 2020 - Aug 2023

As student partner in this Student-Staff-Partnership Program, I co-design the Master of Business Analytics program at UQ. My responsibility is to closely collaborate with UQ staff and student partners to develop engaging, inspiring and relevant learning resources for associated courses and provide coherent and comprehensive feedback on existing ones. As peer-assisted-study-session (PASS) Leader I prepared and led interactive tutoring sessions for university students for the three courses: “ENVM1501-Introduction to Environmental Studies”, “GEOM1000-Fundamentals of Geographic Information & Technologies” & "ERTH1000-Planet Earth: The Big Picture".

      Nov 2021 - Feb 2022
      Student Intern

My main project utilized a machine learning algorithm which was programmed in python to predict the characteristics of beaches using tidal, wave and sand pumping data. Such algorithms can help inform nearby sand dredging and pumping activities at Tweed River to minimize excessive beach erosion and accretion issues. My implemented K-Nearest Neighbours (KNN) classification algorithm achieved an average accuracy of up to 85%.
