  Wilko Jansen is the Chief Technical Specialist for Vehicle Efficiency & Energy at JLR since 2023. Within this role his main objective is the development of world-leading technologies and digitalisation for Whole Vehicle Efficiency and the wider Energy Eco system. This Strategic ownership of Whole vehicle efficiency definition includes all relevant areas in the Energy Eco System, Aerodynamics, Thermal management, Vehicle Energy Simulations, Advanced Control, Kinetic Energy Management, Integrated Energy Management, Mass & Mass property, Computational methods & Data analytics.He has over 25 years of experience in the Automotive industry in the fields of Thermal Management, Aerodynamics and Powertrain ranging from simulation to physical testing on ICE and BEV.Wilko received his degree from ‘The Institute of Automotive Engineering’ in the Netherlands.He is committee member of the SAE Thermal Management Systems Activity, has organised and chaired several technical sessions and was the committee chair from 2019-2020.
