  Perform detailed technical evaluation/review of the tender documents (Specs, Drawings, Bill of Quantities [BOQ]), and ensure that any inquiries or clarifications (Request for Information- RFI) are raised well to the client.Divide the project into packages and contact suppliers and sub-contractors to obtain (through Request for Quotation-RFQ) and compare price offers and quotations for the various materials/items needed for the project.Conduct comparison studies for suppliers’ and subcontractors’ quotations, develop cost estimation in response to the client’s Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and calculate direct costs based on client specific requirements.Liaise with the Procurement department, whenever needed, to get contact to, or obtain information about, suppliers who are hard to reach.Prepare conditions of awarded projects, and hand over relevant documents to the Commercial, Operations, and other concerned, departments.Participate occasionally in offshore jobs by contributing to researching about international suppliers, and communicating with the Planning and Cost Control department to get information about international material and labor costs for estimation. عرض أقل
