Tutor for outgoing exchange students to Sub-Saharan Africa 2019. Majoring in Geoinformatics offers a broad base for spatial and statistical analyses. As minor, I studied Information and service management at Aalto University. I wrote my thesis on "Twitter data as an indicator of sports activities" as part of YLLI- research project. In the thesis, I utilized Natural Language Processing methods for content analysis and geoparsing.

      I worked with Finnish Environmental Institute in the Environmental Policy Center. I developed a Python script to construct a travel time matrix for areas in Finland. I was also contributing to maintenance work of Liiteri web map service as well as helping with GIS analysis about commuting patterns in Kymenlaakso. I also documented nature-based solutions for stormwater management in Helsinki Metropolitan area as part of Atenas project.

      In fall 2020, I was teaching practical sessions in Geo-Python Master's level course where students dive in in the world of Python and learn to use Python as data analysis tool. The first part of the course focuses on basic principles on Python and version control and the latter part emphasises data visualisation, plotting maps and graphs as well as executing different GIS analyses. In spring 2021, I am teaching practical sessions and book club for Intro to advanced GIS Master's level course. In the course, we cover a wide range of GIS analyses with a new theme for every week.
