      Supervised a crew of 3-4 employees performing removal/replacement of concrete flat-work, forms and curb replacement while acting as the primary finisher.Working on a small crew lead to being able to perform all of the necessary tasks which included, but were not limited to: set-up/tear down of forms, raking concrete, running pnuematic air hammers and cutoff saws and equipment operation, i.e. backhoe, bobcat, single-axle dumptruckI also worked on multiple projects installing 10" ductile water lines, shooting grades with a transit, and performed signaling duties for hoisting operators.Throughout my time of employment I also operated forklifts, vibratory rollers, and bulldozers. As a third-party testing firm we receive materials from around the country and sometimes the world for anything from durability to chemical analytical testing.Working with so many materials from so many places required me to have a knowledge of each state's DOT specifications and procedures for tests to be performed. All of this testing is encompassed by the procedures set by ASTM and AASHTO.       Oversee the daily operations of 10 technicians performing QC/QA testing for production materials at each of our 4 locations. Each location has a mining operation and a Hot-Mix asphalt plant. At these facilities I would assign employee duties, monitor production and handle customer service issues that may arise.The majority of work being performed is being done in accordance to the specifications set forth by MassDOT, RIDOT, NHDOT, with several additional projects for the United States Army Corps of Engineers(USACE), Massachusetts Port Authority, Federal Aviation Association, and the American Railroad Engineering Association.Managed and worked along side the USACE on multiple shoreline restoration projects supplying rip-rap.Monitored daily production QC reports analyzing data for trends, equipment wear and/or malfunctions.All or most of the procedures and/or specifications used are derived from ASTM and/or AASHTO.
