  Successfully applied for funding to undertake paid research experience within the BioPhysics research team at the University of Exeter- passing both a written application and two interviews.Functionalised and spectroscopically analysed colloidal samples using a variety of lab techniques with minimal supervision.Consolidated and analysed the resulting data in Python and subsequently Origin, and presented the findings to the project supervisors and the grant provider.
