  The main goal was to produce enticing and informative videos for foreigners to gain perspective on things in Japan. My perspective was highly acknowledged by my coworkers as I was able to provide insight as a young Canadian living alone, and studying in Japan.I worked directly with the Lead Media Producer in creating, editing, and finding ideas for videos. This included using Adobe Premiere Pro, scoping film locations, and contacting potential clients for videos.Successes included becoming the lead spokesperson on the channel, becoming a star feature on Facebook and company homepages, and gaining the ability to produce a commercial for a client's websites.   My daily goal was to coach new waitresses and waiters to perform above and beyond company standards. This included educating servers on QSC points, alcohol, and menu items and learning new ways to instruct and teach new hires. In this role, I would sit in on trainer meetings with other trainers and managers to come up with new ways to train employees. This allowed me to pass on my knowledge of service to other trainers ensuring all new hires were gaining the best knowledge of our standards and how to achieve them. The achievements I gained from this role include training over 20+ employees, guided 10+ trained employees to gain promotions, received multiple 5 star ratings and excellent customer feed back on google reviews and in person. By pursuing this goal my upselling ability grew exponentially while my communication with guests began to also flourish. I was challenged to lead a team of servers which taught me the importance of motivating and guiding a team. This position enabled me to work closely with managers, supervisors, and head chefs of the restaurant.
