I had overall responsibility for the projects outcome. I acted as the primary contact between vendor contractors, the plant management and the equipment owners. I ensured that the projects were being done safely and correctly. I supported the vendors to enable timely and quality work and to monitor and control costs. I was responsible for keeping the plant's management updated on the project’s progress. I was certified as a CWI # 05100061 07/01/2005 to 12/31/2006 Technical Specialist I Duke Power Co.I was the Welding Instructor for Duke Energy F/H welding program. I had responsibility for the TTE200 (Welding Program) and the TTE101 (Visual Weld Inspection) training. I was also responsible for maintaining and updating the Good Practices Welding Manual which is used by the F/H department.I also supported vendor audits of Welding and NDE programs for the department. I was certified as a CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) in 2005. 03151/79 to 06/31/05 Maintenance Inspector A Duke Power Co.I performed final and in-process inspections in accordance with ASME III, V, VIII and XI piping and equipment. Primary responsibility was volumetric ultrasonic in-service inspection in support of nuclear outages. I was certified to ERPRI's Appendix VIII UT program and certified level II MT, PT, VT, RT & UT under DE and B&W's NDE programs.
