Achievements to-date includes identifying management system failures in drilling contractor which came off contract due to poor safety record. Also updating the safety section of CNR International’s rig acceptance process and carrying out rig acceptance visits, coordinating HAZID’s, Bridging Documents and SIMOPS.Also acting as Senior Health and Safety Advisor supporting North Sea assets Significant achievements during this time include assisting in the development of an effective auditing strategy, and led the first of the new audits; increasing the awareness of occupational health and hygiene, in particular the control of asbestos and noise; mentor to new Safety Advisor; competency assessor for several health and safety elements; led investigations for major incidents in the UK sector.   Assigned the role of HSE Manager with DPE. In this role I was responsible for monitoring the control framework effectiveness including status of assurance activities, audit findings and compliance measures. Part of the team carrying out the Business Continuity Plans as the company moves to be ISO 22301 accredited. I enhanced the companies oil spill plans and carried out IMT training combined with other teams. I continued to act as the IMT focal point and ensured the correctness of data for internal and government reports. Achievements; carried out HAZID and Bow Ties for the major accident hazards for one of the large complexes. This was used to identify Safety Critical Equipment and Safety Critical Tasks and assign responsibilities. Completed the upgrade of ISO 14001:2004 to 14001:2015. DPE is a whole owned entity of the Emirate of Dubai and is involved in offshore oil and gas production through multiple installations, floating and subsea storage, tanker loading, onshore warehouse and workshops, clinic, on and offshore drilling, large scale construction projects and diving operations. I maintained the company’s accreditation for ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007, planned and oversaw procedural and assurance audits, carried out and reviewed investigations to ensure root causes had been identified, prepared reports for both internal and government use, carried out training with the Incident Management Teams where I have the role of Lead IMT Manager, mentored and appraised junior members of staff.   Acted as Manchester Shipping’s representative in the TengizChevrOil, (a Chevron company), Project Office for the Future Growth Project in Tengiz, Kazakhstan. Periodically travelled to Vessel Owners and Shipbuilders premises to ensure Manchester Shipping’s interests were met. Developed and delivered all aspects of HSSEQ contracted obligations. HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL & QUALITY MANAGER (2018 to 2020)Focal point within TengizChevrOil Project Office for vessel Operations Teams, Consortium Partners and Client. Ensuring contracted deliverables were put in place and actions were executed satisfactorily and in a timely manner. • Put in place the HSEQ project management document system which combined the Vessel Operators’ Safety Management Systems and Client expectations. • Took on the additional role of Incident and Injury Free Champion. (Chevron Behavioural Based Safety system). • Caried out investigations and established Root Cause Analysis with vessel operators. • Introduced 5S System to vessel operators. • Coordinated Audit activities carried out by consortium partner and Offshore Vessel Information System, (OVIS), Chevron’s marine assurance tool for offshore vessels.
