With the recommendation from ECCO Xiamen, I got the job as the Assistant to the Sales Director, actually also worked for the whole wholesales team.My job involves arranging meetings and following up results, handling sales reports and documentations, preparing presentation materials and samples for sales conferences, taking care of sales conference administration and cooperating with the marketing team when necessary.   As a training supervisor, my focus is mainly on talent management, performance management, internal trainer team and training course development.The role requires strategical and structural thinking, and needs me to do more planning and system establishment to link performance & potential review results with succession plan, talent pool, competency assessment, training & development plan and evaluation into a cycle. The aim is to gradually build a people supply pipeline for the company. Developing training courses is new for our specialists, but I am sure with their expertise and passion, and also with the help from our training team, we can make some of our people into good trainers and inspire more people to be internal trainers.The most interesting part is to conduct trainings myself, such as English trainings, production supervisor training and performance management training. Show less As a training officer, I am responsible for training needs survey, sourcing training courses, organizing new employee trainings, following up training results, coordinating internal trainings and handling training documentation and administration.When I was young, I’ve always liked to be a teacher. Being able to transfer my knowledge and expertise to people and probably influence them for a long period of time, makes me feel valuable and enjoyable. When I do company presentation for the new employees or give English lessons, and get sincere clapping from our people, I feel like I can really help some people and I am very proud of this.The opportunity to get in touch with the ECCO international trainees during their rotation period in Xiamen, enables me to know various young people from different countries, exchange opinions with them and help them understand Chinese culture.
