      Wyeth is a global leader in pharmaceuticals, consumer health care and animal health care products. I was based in the Ballymount office where they specialise in the sale, marketing and support of Wyeth products in Ireland. This was my first job after arriving in Ireland and was a temporary, predominantly administrative role. The main purpose was to complete day-to-day HR operations and support the company restructure.

      Involved in the design and implementation of specialist and large scale recruitment campaigns, end to end. Provided advice to hiring managers on suitable psychometric tests to assess job suitable attributes. Administered and interpreted psychometric tests and provided feedback to internal and external candidates.Serco Group ‘Future Leader’ Assessment Centres – Part of a team of qualified in-house assessors selected from Serco contracts nationwide to be involved in group-level assessment of high potential talent. I was required to assess senior level managers and executives through role play and in-tray exercises. An overall profile of each candidate was derived through various assessments that subsequently indicated suitability for advancement onto the Serco Group Future Leader programme. A crucial aspect of the assessment was the ‘wash up’ which involved each assessor discussing a candidate and providing reasoning/debating scores given and providing recommendations for future development. Passenger Service Agent Recruitment Days – Part of a team responsible for assessing hundreds of potential candidates for our Passenger Service Agent vacancies. The specific assessments included verbal and numerical ability tests, radio tests to assess instructional capability and speech clarity and competency based interviews. I was responsible for pre-assessment day preparations, welcoming and registering candidates, administering ability tests, invigilating, marking tests, recording results, interviewing candidates and providing feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
