  The Women Have Wings Art Residency supports collaborative interaction between a visual artist and a human rights activist each summer in Boulder, Colorado on a luscious private farm. Both participants address their life's work through a gendered lens and advocacy for women's rights. The seven day retreat is unique in that no material work is expected from the residents. Residents are asked only to engage one another and explore the potential for learning in the overlap between artistic practice and activism.
