  I was in charge of designing a genetic screen for genes involved in bacterial swarming. I obtained a lot of mutants, sorted them by gene mutated and by phenotypic observation of swarming on soft agar plates. At last, I could map some major mutations on the 3D structure of the protein mutated and see that they clustered on the hook of the flagella.- Genetic and phenotypic screens- Database management- 3D mapping of mutations
