  Project End line survey and Analytical Assessment on Poverty Alleviation and Rural Development Action Plan(PARDAP) project in Min Hla TownshipBrief Description of the project : The International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) provided a Technical Assistance (TA) Grant for rural development in Myanmar on “Strengthening Capacity of the Department of Rural Development for coordination of rural development activities to implement the Government’s Poverty Alleviation and Rural Development Action Plan” as part of the first phase of IFAD assistance to Myanmar during the 2013-2015 PBAS cycle. The project provides technical assistance through a grant to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Department of Rural Development (DRD) for coordination of rural development activities to implement the Government’s Poverty Alleviation and Rural Development Action Plan (PARDAP) based on experiences from field pilots. The project is implemented by DRD at the national level in coordination with national line agencies responsible for the different priority tasks of the PARDAP, and at the regional level in partnership with the Regional Government and local staff of national line agencies in three pilot villages in Minhla Township in Magway Region.
