Prepared of analytical standards, calibration curves, set-up and ran experiments before developing models to describe reaction behaviors. Investigated developing a technique for the destruction of Freon-12.   Led a group of the 2008 NASA Space Grant Interns/Mentors to build relationships by maintaining contact during the year with a goal of insuring that internships were successful. Also helped with the set up of lunch talks, social events, and networking opportunities for the new interns and mentors. Conducted research with the Departments of Environmental and Chemical engineering and Atmospheric Sciences studying the behavior of chlorinated alkanes and alkenes.

  Section lead for 6 engineers and was identified to fill the role by senior management based on my knowledge of department requirements and systems, manufacturing engineer aptitude and authority. Responsible for mentoring and instructing engineers within the area, back filling the section manager, provide input for ratings/ranking/reviews, assist with staffing requirements, and engaged in day to day operations within the factory to support in the absence of engineers or other key support staff.Work with space programs to develop processes and design of new hardware being qualified and bringing it to full production readiness. Worked with space program to develop ROMs to bring outsourced hardware in house as a competitive advantage based on the core competencies of the factory.Coauthor on pending patent for Raytheon proprietary manufacturing process.Stepped in as a factory manager in addition to continued section lead duties while personnel transition was in place. Role included managing 18 hourly employees, scheduling daily tasks and being responsible for on time hardware delivery. Working to obtain a Program Management 6 level certification by the end of 2017 with the Women's Leadership Rise Up Cohort.
