  I’ve been teaching Italian and conveying my own culture for 22 years, but teaching has never been simply a job for me. It has been a quest to find the perfect method, because I realised soon enough that sticking to the programmes, full of grammar explanations and exercises, had hardly brought any improvement to my students in their knowledge of the beautiful Italian language.
