      IT: Computer Networking

      Starting in 2017, I attended SUNY Adirondack through the WSWHE Boces Early College Career Academy (ECCA). During this time I was also attending Hudson Falls High School. I was enrolled in the IT: Computer Networking program which taught students how to design networks, configure network and end devices, how to troubleshoot networks and devices, and also taught us some basics of information security. While… Show more Starting in 2017, I attended SUNY Adirondack through the WSWHE Boces Early College Career Academy (ECCA). During this time I was also attending Hudson Falls High School. I was enrolled in the IT: Computer Networking program which taught students how to design networks, configure network and end devices, how to troubleshoot networks and devices, and also taught us some basics of information security. During ECCA many opportunities were presented to receive industry certifications. While attending ECCA, I received my A+, CCENT, and CCNA certification. I also was invited by ECCA to the NYS Skills USA Leadership and Skills Championships where I received 3rd place in the Internetworking competition. In 2019 I graduated from ECCA. This program gave me enough credits and put me on track to graduate from SUNY Adirondack, with my AAS in IT: Computer Networking, in 1 year after graduating from ECCA. Show less

During my Junior and Senior years, I was dually enrolled in high school and SUNY Adirondack through the Early College Career Academy by WSWHE Boces (ECCA). I received 29 college credits during this time and graduated from HFHS in 2019 with my Advanced Regents Diploma.

      3rd Place at NYS Skills USA Leadership and Skills Championships - Internetworking Skills USA Apr 2019 While attending the Early College Career Academy (ECCA), I was invited to go to the NYS Skills USA Leadership and Skills Championships in Syracuse, NY. I participated in the Internetworking competition. This consisted of connecting different networks together and configuring devices on the network properly to allow for communication between the networks, following set guidelines. I received 3rd place at this competition.
