  The project was fully funded by a grant awarded by the Davis Projects for Peace foundation.A budget of $10,000 was executed to create a water sustainability project in the village of Chiyuc, Alta Verapaz in Guatemala.The project consisted of a series seminars aimed to increased awareness about water usage and management in the village and concluded with the donation of water filters to 250 low-income families.
