  During the summer of 2017, I spent two months living and working independently in Rabat, Morocco. Throughout my time there, I worked at the Arab Center for Scientific Research and Human Studies, which is the first liberal think tank in the Arab World. - I was responsible for conducting research on women's empowerment in Morocco and on Moroccan counterterrorism tactics. My research tactics included everything from independent web work to on-ground interviews. - I wrote two policy briefs for the Center, one on women's empowerment tactics and another on counterterrorism tactics. I presented both policy briefs to the founder of the think tank. - During my time in Morocco, I not only became knowledgeable about the nation as a whole, but I became skilled in adapting to a new and ever-changing working environment, speaking the French language, and seeing the world through the lens of cultural relativity. I conduct thorough research on these issues and others, which I then present to the Delegate and his staff.
