      I attended Michigan State University during my student teaching year to obtain my teaching certificate. From August 2022 to April 2023, I gained hands-on experience in the classroom, applying my knowledge in Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Education while working directly with students. This experience was integral in preparing me for a successful career in agricultural education.

I have gained extensive knowledge in growing grain crops such as oats, wheat, soybeans, hay, and straw. Additionally, I am experienced with the equipment used daily on the farm. As this is a seasonal position, I primarily work during the summer months, as my schedule is often occupied with school during the rest of the year. Through this role, I have learned the importance of teamwork, networking within the agricultural community, and effectively communicating with customers, all of which have contributed to my growth both as a farmer and as a professional in the agricultural industry.
