  I was fortunate enough to be elected as a House Committee member at Metanoia Residence. My portfolios included Room Placements as well as Voting. These portfolios taught me how to manage excel spreadsheets effectively, how to create and manage voting systems and how to manage my time effectively. Being in this leadership position taught me how to work in a team of 20 other members, as we met on a weekly basis to discuss new plans and issues in the residence. I am very grateful for the opportunity I had in this position, as it has taught me how to balance my job as a leader with academic responsibilities and with my sneaker reselling business. Show less I was voted in as a Mentor for Metanoia Residence during my second year of my undergraduate degree, and I am so grateful for this experience. I had to take on the responsibility of mentoring, teaching, and supporting the newcomers of Metanoia during their first year in the residence. Through weekly sessions with a group of 16 newcomers, I mentored and guided this group through the various challenges of university, trying my best to make the experience as smooth as possible. This leadership position taught me how to lead a group of individuals and how to engage with them. I would guide them through their struggles, and try help them overcome any obstacles.
