      As a network and desktop support technician, I was responsible for the IT environment at multiple schools. I implemented, maintained and supported multiple VMware and Hyper-V environments across the Auckland and Waikato regions.

      As a solutions architect with a modern work speciality, I work with the sales team to provide presales support, and strategic input for existing and future CodeBlue customers.I also lead projects - taking clients into Microsoft modern workplace solutions, through the following technologies: Microsoft Endpoint Manager (InTune), Autopilot, SharePoint, Microsoft Defender, Power Automate, and the advanced security and compliance features. For example, I have moved a large engineering and consultancy firm from a hybrid on-premise/azure infrastructure, into a full modern workplace environment, utilizing SharePoint as a content management system and utilizing Azure SSO for their applications. This is further protected using information protection policies, data loss prevention policies and conditional access.This is a highly collaborative role, working with the sales team to present solution capabilities, then working with the client to define requirements, and finally, leading a team of engineers to implement the solution. Show less I was responsible for understanding my clients' business requirements, then aligning best practice technology solutions. I was responsible for clients ranging in size between 20 and 350 seats. The solutions I delivered and maintained included standard virtualization (VMware and Hyper-V) and support of common workloads hosted by these environments (Application servers, database servers, mail servers, remote desktop servers (Citrix, RDS), domain services and file and print). I deployed and supported my client's desktop, laptop and mobile technologies. I have in depth networking knowledge of switching and routing technologies, firewalling, and security best practices, that I used to design and implement client networks, and border protection.I provide afterhours and weekend support for all Auckland clients on a regular basis as part of the on-call roster, as well as providing training to colleagues in my specialist areas annually.
