  In 2004 I began working for my uncle as a manager at the Thunderbird Lodge, which he had owned and operated for many years. With aspirations of becoming a business owner, I purchased Thunderbird Lodge from him in 2008 after he expressed an interest in relocating to pursue other opportunities. While the pandemic took a toll on the travel and tourism industry and we made the difficult decision to sell the property in December 2020, I wouldn’t trade the experience.

  Assistant Basketball Coach

  As Assistant Basketball Coach, I was responsible for supporting the Head Coach by coaching student athletes, recruiting, monitoring student athlete academic progress, scheduling, managing travel and scholarships and overseeing the discipline, conduct, and image of the student athlete. During my six years with the DWU Tigers, the team made four national tournament appearances and won the conference championship in 2010.I had a blast going back to my alma mater and coaching the sport that is so close to my heart!
