      Responsible for the management, maintenance, and security of the school’s complete ICT infrastructure so that it meets the needs of a growing school.Responsible for managing, organising, and supervising the ICT Support team consisting of an ICT Technician, new Junior ICT Technician, and myself to ensure streamlined operation of the school’s ICT infrastructure.Day to Day tasks included management of 2 ICT Technicians within the team, performing in-place upgrades of all servers running Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2012 R2 up to Windows Server 2016 to conform with 2012 becoming end of life, and continued administration of all ICT systems and services within the school. Show less Day to Day tasks included more advanced network and server maintenance, hardware maintenance such as end point devices and photocopiers, administration of the Office 365 and Google Suite environments, and assisting the Network Manager with advanced services such as ADFS certificate renewal, creation of updated Windows OS deployment images, and supporting an upgrade of the entire core network infrastructure.Larger tasks included managing a project to upgrade the school’s outdated electronic visitor system in order to streamline the process of staff, student, visitor, and contractor sign in and reduce workload for the school’s Admin/Reception team by bringing in a system which would synchronise with the school’s MIS system. Show less On the job training while completing my Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship.Day to Day tasks included basic network and server maintenance, hardware maintenance such as end point devices and photocopiers, and support for the Network Manager where required of me.Larger tasks included a full audit of all the school’s devices (computers, laptops, projectors) in order to assist the Network Manager in planning routine upgrades of said equipment to keep in line with the needs of a growing school and with the requirement to have all end point devices Windows 11 ready by 2025.
