  I am the manager in charge for the ICT operations concerning all the companies owned by the Mondadori Group. In this role I have the responsibility of a team larger than 120 FTEs located in several places, mainly Milano and Verona. Specifically I have in charge the development and the application management of all the editorial processes and softwares in the magazines area, in the book trade division (Arnoldo Mondadori Editore, Piemme, Sperling&Kupfer, Einaudi and related brands), in the art division (Mondadori Electa) and in the educational environment (Mondadori Education and related brands). I coordinate, strictly working with the innovation team of Mondadori, the development of digital solutions, i.e. web sites or apps. I manage the development of all the software adopted in financial, acquiring, administration and controlling areas and all the managing software in use in the group. For Mondadori Direct, I have in charge the development and the application management of the software used by its owned (retail or multicenter) or affiliate (franchisee) shops. I coordinate the development of the software in use in Press-Di, the company that manages magazine subscriptions (online and physical) for Mondadori and other italian publishers; I cover the same role for Mondadori France. I have in charge the development of the software solutions used in Mondadori Pubblicità, Mediamond. If an internal user has a problem or has an idea concerning a business opportunity he can find in my team the right R&D and Program management skills. We think that the ICT can't be only a passive actor of the business but must play a more and more intensive and active role in it: proposing ideas, prototipyzing solutions, developing ad hoc programs or integrate third parties solutions. In 2016 Mondadori acquired the books division of RCS and Banzai Media becoming the first book publisher (trade and education) and the first digital one in Italy.
