  I acted as one of two heritage professionals on what was then the largest privately funded conservation project in Western Europe, Dunboy Castle. I was also involved in a variety of conservation works on Georgian properties and project managed works to the iconic St. Anne's Church, Shandon.

  Provided heritage strategy and building repair advice on a variety of sites including the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. Aside from my consultancy work I acted as a supervising archaeologist on excavations at the Carlton Brewery and the internationally important Rocks Colonial Settlement site.

  Provided planning, archaeology and building conservation advice on a variety of buildings including the internationally important St. Fin Barre's Cathedral in Cork.

  Archaeological Excavation Director in Papua New Guinea on the largest excavation in the country's history. The excavations were taking place in area experiencing low level tribal warfare. This and other issues presented a challenging set of circumstances that required careful management.

  As project manager of the Irish Walled Towns Network, my role was to unite and co-ordinate the strategic efforts of local authorities involved in the management, conservation and enhancement of historic walled towns in Ireland, both North and South. In 2018, the EU's European Committee for the Regions cited the Irish Walled Towns Network as being one of two Irish best practice examples in the sustainable use of culture for urban regeneration purposes.
