  Responsible for delivering an application for major Oil & Gas company to compute the risk associated with trading a particular commodity on a particular day at a specific price for a pre-defined volume trading.The application was developed as a client-server application with most of the business rules residing in stored procedures. Show less Statement of Work (SOW) is the contract note which contains the contractor details, supplier rates for contractors with different skills and competencies, and the total estimated cost for a project. When there is a bid for a project (called the proposal), each supplier identified to bid provide their rate-cards for their contractors, for each role and estimated total effort and cost. This information is used to shortlist which supplier to grant the contract to. Show less Delivered Resource Procurement System for a major Oil & Gas company. This application was used track, maintain and report contractor specific details. A Supplier Performance Management (SPM) exercise would be conducted once a fortnight wherein these reports served as inputs to analyze the performance, productivity and feasibility characteristics of each contractor supplier.An automated report processing logic was also developed to pick-up reports generated from external systems, process them, and generate a consolidated report in turn. SQL packages were written to pick the reports dropped at pre-designated places, and FTP them to the destination environment, wherein they would be interpreted and consolidated.Key Activities: Requirements gathering & analysis, proposal preparation & presentation to client, finalizing cost & effort estimates, project planning & scheduling at onsite.
