The course also offered some unique subjects such as 'Shiamak Style', a fusion of Indo-modern and contemporary dancing, diversely training students. Throughout the course, I was part of several dance productions and events, further pursuing the same, associating with different dance companies even after graduating from the program. Show less

Activities and Societies: During my time at the organization, I participated in various events undertaking different roles, from escorting French consuls to various events, to helping organise special movie screenings at the institute headquarters, thereby interacting with many French natives and other students. Developing a keen interest in French language and Francophone culture, being first exposed to it in school at age 12, I wished to pursue an international diploma in the language. The teachings at Alliance Française exposed me to many realms of the Francophone world, from French comics to cinema, beyond plain learning of the language. The institute offers 11 level courses to climb towards complete French proficiency and I had been completing levels as and when I got time, having done 8/11 levels.

Activities and Societies: At the institute, I enjoyed participating in a range of events, from helping organize ambassador visits, to engaging in Hispanic heritage month celebrations. My first contact with the language happened at the beginning of my baccalaureate, as an extension of which I wished to pursue an international diploma in Spanish as well. Much like the program at Alliance Française, the learning here exposes one to various facets of Hispanic culture beyond the language itself. The institute offers 8 level courses to climb towards complete Spanish proficiency and I have been completing levels as and when I get time, having done 7/8 levels.
