      • Develop complete mechanical design of oil immersed power transformer up to 133 MVA, 230 KV class in compliance with customer specifications (typically Saudi Aramco and Saudi Electric Company) including offshore transformers.• Design retrofit transformers with various termination arrangements (Oil-Air / Oil-Oil / Oil-SF6) as per site condition/customer requirement.• Compute mechanical calculations for structural design of tank, core-coil clamping frame, cooling and volumetric thermal expansion of insulating fluid.• Use NX 8.5 for 3d modeling of transformer’s tanks and extraction of drawings. • Finite element analysis (FEA) of critical parts using ANSYS for design improvement and material optimization.• Work on CREO for developing models and drawings of core-coil assembly / Active part.• Conduct site surveys and provide optimum solution for retrofit transformers.• Address shop floor and field quality issues and take necessary design measures to enhance product quality and/or reduce manufacturing and material cost.• Standardization of mechanical parts and development of general drawings.• Select appropriate transformer’s protection accessories and prepare Bill of materials of complete transformer.• Good knowledge of Power transformers International standards IEEE and IEC. عرض أقل
