Jul 2009 - Aug 2010ScreenTalk EngineerI was in charge of a disability service called ScreenTalk which mastered and distributed Audio Description and Subtitles to UK cinemas. This meant that I was accountable for the quality control and distribution of ScreenTalk discs and service around the country. Through this role I was responsible for:• The co-ordination of security protected 35mm film and ScreenTalk files being delivered to Dolby for quality control.• Checking the subtitles and audio description for syncing and type errors• Creation and distribution of ScreenTalk discs to all ScreenTalk supported cinemas around the UK.• Repair of Dolby mastering units returned from Dolby licensed mastering studios.• Technical assistance at Film premieres within the projector room or broadcast trucks.• Screening support at staff screenings Show less

My current job role includes the following:• Day to day management and training of team members within the test department. This includes resource planning for current and future projects. • Responsible for sprint management and release schedule of the Naim Android App development.• Accountable for planning, organising and co-ordinating complete Software Certifications. This includes; Wi-Fi Alliance, USB-IF, Bluetooth, AptX, Spotify, HDMI, Airplay/MFI and Chromecast built-in certification.• Manage and co-ordinate the development and production of custom antennas. This included working with a specialised consultant on multiple projects.
