      NPPO Weld School dedicated to familiarization with O/A brazing and cutting, and SMAW(stick) welding in horizontal ,vertical and overhead positions with 7018HR rod. Training is then finalized with emphasis on GTAW(tig) welding. The purpose of this school is to train Nuclear Machinist Mates in welding during emergency situations. Approximately 60 Nuclear Machinist Mates aquire this qualification per year.
