  After several years of experience in operations, process engineering, process safety engineering and OHS with Indorama Petrochemicals Nigeria, my work experience has traversed through a combination of functions in coordinating the development of OHS and process safety risk management in Petrochemicals and refinery plants in line with API 754 standards, OSHA and CCPS guidelines. Actively involved in planning, implementation, managing and continually improving operations and process safety management systems, and ensuring compliance with legal and other requirements, corporate governance, regulatory and statutory audits to meet up with insurance audit requirements and achieving a safe work place. Provides technical process safety support to ensure risk management is started from design stage, and during modifications in all company projects. Ensures the incorporation of safety systems, fire and loss preventive measures at design, execution and commissioning of all fertilizer and petrochemical plants. Providing process hazard analysis studies as HAZID and HAZOP, HEMP and safety Cases, Bowtie risk analysis, LOPA, SIL and ISO certification trainings. Carries out PSM and SMS gap analysis and auditing for manufacturing and process plants against international standard, and liaises with lead process safety engineer on the drive for improving operating discipline and other leading and lagging process safety performance indicators. Have been recognized as an adaptable business leader with about 16 years + experience in leading operations, process engineering, OHS and process safety management systems, manifesting into operational excellence in Indorama and business transformation across multifunctional sections in the oil and gas sector.
