  I ran the Historic Preservation program for the City of Orlando. I wrote the Design and Demolition Standards and the Landmark Sign ordinance and oversaw construction activity in the historic districts and at landmark properties. I represented the City in negotiations involving the expansion of I-4 through Orlando's historic downtown and nearby neighborhoods. On behalf of the City I also worked with communities from Pensacola to Key West on issues concerning historic preservation.Planning activities include writing and updating the City's first Historic Preservation Element and making recommendations on Board of Zoning Adjustment and Municipal Planning Board cases involving historic properties.
