      Jul 2014 - Aug 2014
      Support Worker

As a support worker on an activity scheme for children with learning difficulties, I was responsible for their safety and enjoyment while offering them a really enjoyable experience. This role was extremely rewarding on a personal level, it taught me a great deal about those with disabilities and the support that they require. I also learned that I am very patient and tolerant, remaining calm and focused in pressured situations whilst able to ask for help when needed and proactively help others if I am able. Show less

      Contact Center Agent

I worked in a national call centre, using a range of technologies to respond to customer queries, gaining significant experience of dealing directly with customers and the general public in this role. Responding to fluctuating customer demands required flexibility in working practices to meet performance standards of the organisation. I learned that I was resilient in what can sometimes be stressful environments.

      Youth Support Worker

For the last three years I have worked regularly during term breaks as a support worker on a Council provided activity scheme across Hertfordshire. Responsible for volunteers, children and young people on site, supporting their involvement in a range of activities in a range of locations. I received training in basic child protection and life support to undertake this role. I worked part time on a weekly basis supporting after school ranger activities until 2020 when all activities ceased due to Covid 19. In this role I was required to join and immediately work effectively within diverse teams and establish respectful relationships to swiftly engender the confidence of clients and their parents regarding my competency and reliability.
