  As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and practitioner of Culinary Medicine, I integrate the art of preparing, cooking, and presenting food with the science of medicine to achieve desired health outcomes. I work to enhance nutrition interventions by combining the enjoyment of food with the scientific knowledge of how food and dietary choices may influence our metabolism, immune function, and the development of chronic diseases. Through educational classes, one-on-one nutrition consults, and group medical visits, I highlight the pleasure of eating healthy foods and encourage healthful eating patterns while demonstrating practical ways in which they may be carried out. When working one-on-one, I tailor each nutrition plan to the individual's unique needs.
