Senior-most representative of the corporate family in the market area, responsible for representing the corporation at the highest levels in the public/private arenas. Achieved a 5-year compound annual growth rate of 12%, doubling net plant in service. Helped Southern Company Gas reduce annual methane emissions by 50% and grow its system by 20%. Established the VNG Radford University Scholars Program, offering scholarships and internships for area students enrolled at Radford. Created the first value-chain-wide differentiated natural gas transaction. Implemented the first-in-the-nation veterans training program with the US Navy, the Governor’s Office, Tidewater Community College, and Old Dominion University. Developed the first-in-VA experiential learning program with Tidewater Community College and Old Dominion College, leading to degrees in industrial management for company employees.
