  Responsible for the development and maintenance of all the GIS data. Perform analysis on GIS data. Assist in the management of the Floodplain data for the City. Acts as the Addressing Administrator for the City. Geobase administrator for the Spillman software used by the Police Department. Acting member of the 20/20 Vision Committee, the Beautification Committee and the Chairman of the IT Committee for the City.

  My responsibilities include supervision of Mapping & Records Technicians GIS workload; maintaining GIS data layers; creating maps for Entities, Staff, & Taxpayers; training staff on GIS software; conducting research on boundary issues at all levels and working to resolve said issues; performing spatial analysis to identify and resolve Jurisdiction issues.I am one of two members of the Smith County GIS Consortium representing the Appraisal District. We are involved in the process of obtaining Aerial Imagery and Change Detection Data every two years through the Texas Stratmap program. Show less
