  As Senior Spatial Science Officer (Spatial Systems) Megha plans, develops, and implements applications(apps) and procedures that provide relevant high quality spatial information, utilising web GIS technologies to support, and deliver departmental outcomes. She also manages operational aspects of the department’s Geographical Information System by gaining insight into issues and analysing the available information in a critical manner. She collaborates with other teams across departments, to deliver mapping products, business specific web mapping apps based on key policies, plans, strategies and recommendations. As the system owner for Interactive Maps (the web-based mapping product using ESRI products and Geocortex) she often negotiates with Commonwealth, State and Local Government and external consultants in relation to the acquisition, maintenance and dissemination of spatial data as required for projects within departments.
