It… Show more Through various major papers I had the opportunity to learn and understand the workings of not only a political system, but also how it affects a society, and vice-versa. I also understood about various policies and their implementation and the impacts that a particular policy can have on different sections of a given society. I also learnt about what factors are important for relations between different states. Apart from my major degree, I also have a minor degree in Sociology. It helped me perceive the society and family and people, which in turn gave me a better perspective to understand the workings of politics. I was an active member of Women's Development Cell throughout my 3 years. As a part of this society, I was exposed to a whole new perspective to look at things. I have attended numerous seminars, and was part of organizing the Annual Gender Mela. I also participated in the workshops conducted by TULA, THE CONSUMERS AWARENESS CLUB OF MIRANDA HOUSE. Show less
